Beides funktioniert. Setzen Sie sich persönlich zusammen und reichen Sie das Handy hin und her, oder stellen Sie es bei einem Videoanruf auf — wichtig ist, dass das Gespräch stattfindet, nicht wie es eingerichtet ist.

Dafür gibt es „Gespräch festhalten“ — einen Knopf an derselben Stelle wie die Fragen. Tippen Sie darauf, nehmen Sie auf, was gesagt wird, und fügen Sie danach bei Bedarf eine kurze Notiz hinzu (oder lassen Sie das aus und holen es später nach). Das hat keinerlei Einfluss auf Ihren Fortschritt bei den Fragenpaketen.

Our application database is powered by Neon Serverless PostgreSQL, hosted in European cloud facilities (AWS Europe) and accessed strictly via encrypted SSL/TLS connections. The database stores your interview structure: question prompts, timestamps, recording durations, and family access permissions. Your family data is never made public or indexed by search engines.

You sign in securely with your Google or Apple account (or email magic link). Because your account is protected by industry-standard biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, and two-factor authentication), you never have to remember a separate password, and you will never lose your family memories if you clear your browser cache or switch phones. Simply sign in on any device and your family archive is immediately ready.

Ja, das geht schon heute — solange einer von Ihnen den Interviewpartner anlegt und den anderen über denselben Link „weitere Mitfragende hinzuziehen“ einlädt. Dann können Sie beide aufnehmen, Notizen hinzufügen und alles einsehen. Was noch nicht funktioniert, ist das nachträgliche Zusammenführen zweier bereits getrennter Konten — das steht als Nächstes auf der Liste.

Ja. Jede Aufnahme — sowohl Antworten auf Fragen als auch mit „Gespräch festhalten“ aufgenommene Momente — hat einen bearbeitbaren Titel bzw. eine Notiz, die Sie jederzeit über den Aufnahmebildschirm hinzufügen oder ändern können, nicht nur direkt nach der Aufnahme.

We request only the minimal Google 'drive.file' permission. Storycatcher can ONLY create, read, and manage the specific recordings it saves inside a dedicated 'Storycatcher Recordings' folder. It can never see, read, modify, or delete any other files, photos, or documents on your Google Drive.

Yes. From 'Your own storage' in the ☰ menu, you can toggle any person's storage destination between Managed storage and Google Drive at any time. When you disconnect Google Drive, active storage defaults safely back to Managed storage.
